Happy Halloween Y’all

Halloween is TOMORROW.

Halloween has always been and will forever be my favorite holiday. I love it all. Carving pumpkins, lighting pumpkin candles, the cheesy neighborhood decorations, trick or treating, jack-o-lanterns, witches and ghosts and goblins and zombies every ridiculous commercialized piece of Halloween that is shoved in our faces from labor day until TOMORROW.

My poor dad can attest to all the times I drug him to haunted houses or forced him to watch scary movies. And poor John has been eating pumpkin bread and candy corn since August. He finally got sassy and asked if I really needed another pumpkin candle.

Here are just a few of the ways we’ve been celebrating! (Some more appreciatively than others.)

I forced our new friends to go to the four part haunted house at Boone Hall. We were the oldest people…by a lot.

John’s! Of course he wanted to do a Husker pumpkin…but…it got too complicated.

Actually, it’s good that Halloween is tomorrow, because our pumpkins have been rotted out now for about five days. And we’re running a little low on the candy for the Trick-or-treaters…
